Dr. Kaylee Langel was born and raised in Le Mars, Iowa and graduated from Le Mars Community High School. At a young age Dr. Langel can remember having the desire and passion to help others which lead her to nursing. She graduated from St. Luke’s College in Sioux City, Iowa with an associate degree in nursing, also known as a Registered Nurse. Dr. Langel then attended Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and minoring in psychology. She knew she wanted to serve her community at a high level of education and therefore went on to attend graduate school at the University of Iowa where she studied for her Doctorate of Nursing. It was during this time that Dr. Langel felt she was being pulled in another direction and therefore switched her major to Chiropractic. Dr. Langel moved to Kansas City where she attended Cleveland University, graduating with her Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Throughout her time at Cleveland University, Dr. Langel attended seminars and received some certifications. She is certified in Webster technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Webster is a technique which allows the doctor to align the pelvis of pregnant women, preparing it for the birthing process. She is also certified in acupuncture, which is over 2,000+ years old, dating it back to ancient China and is used to help with physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Dr. Langel also attended several Motion Palpation Institute seminars. During her last year at Cleveland University she had the opportunity to treat patients at the Kansas City Care Clinic and was apart of a preceptorship at the VA Hospital in Kansas City. Along with being nationally board certified in chiropractic and physiotherapy, Dr. Langel is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association.
Her education, training, and certifications have allowed Dr. Langel to treat every member of the family, from infants, to pregnant moms, to senior citizens. Dr. Langel is excited to be back to her home roots and providing care and treatment to her community. In her free time Dr. Langel enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, being outdoors, attending her daughter’s sporting events, golfing and being with family.
