What to Expect

Laying the foundation for total health

In some ways, one could say that chiropractic care is a bit like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work together correctly. When building a house, if you tried to build your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually may even collapse. If you tried to build your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. These concepts apply to your body as well, and chiropractic care addresses many common reasons why people experience pain and other health issues. If something is not right with your body's foundation, than that needs to be addressed before true health can be achieved. With chiropractic care, your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care . . .

Phase 1: Relief Care

If you are in pain when you come into our Sioux Center chiropractic office, our first objective is to help you reduce pain and start feeling better as soon as possible. Depending on the severity of the underlying condition which is causing your pain, it is typical for a patient to need chiropractic care or adjustments 2-3 times per week for 4-12 weeks.

Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care

During the corrective phase of chiropractic care, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, which helps prevent further injury or pain. The goal of corrective or restorative chiropractic care is to help bring your body back to 100% functioning. It is typical to need chiropractic care or adjustments about 4-8 times per month for 6-24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem.

Phase 3: Wellness Care

Once your body has fully healed and you are no longer experiencing back pain or other pain symptoms, it is important to come in for periodic chiropractic adjustments to avoid further problems in the future. Usually, this phase of chiropractic care only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor 1-4 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I have seen both Dr. Tiffany and Dr. Tyler for the last couple years and they are great. Never feel rushed, they take the time to listen and to help find the cause and or right treatment. All 3 of my kids go to them and they are great with sports injuries, hip dysplasia, or heartburn and jaw/teeth issues or just a good adjustment. Thank you"

  • "I could not be more thankful for these amazing people. I see Dr. Tiffany about once a month for my migraines and she always has me leaving feeling a million times better. I had gone to countless chiropractors when I was in college and started seeing Tiffany my senior year and it has made all the difference in how I feel. I can go weeks without migraines instead of getting them weekly!"

  • "Dr. Kaylee is amazing! She takes her time to ensure she gets a good adjustment and gets you feeling better & listens to any concerns you have. I was in so much pain the slightest tough had me cringing but she was gentle & got an adjustment done with the least amount of discomfort as possible."

  • "Always so professional, caring, and great with young athletes and students! Teaching them proper ways to stretch or what to do to prevent strains or stress. So friendly and warm!"

  • "I've been going to Sioux Center Chiropractic for years, and I've come to rely on the professional care and friendly assistance that I receive there! I really appreciate how Dr. Tyler not only does the traditional adjustments, but he does extra stretches with my neck and back to really help me get the full mobility that I'm looking for. The staff and doctors here are awesome--I won't go anywhere else in Sioux Center!"

  • "Seriously people...Armstrong chiropractic has to be the most awesome and kind place ever...here I run in to pick up some greens and they are busy so I decide to stop back later and next thing I know it's on my doorstep with a simple sweet note! If you are looking for someone to go the extra mile in anything, they are the place to be! They care so much and do so many things for all their clients! Love always getting a friendly smile and having a nice chat when I'm in there!"
